This is northern soul-The Motown sound Vol 1 and 2

This  review is for you Motown heads, Two cd’s on Debutante (a division of Polygram Records)1997 and 98 although not new releases I can recommend these two brilliant albums, compiled by Chris King the well known DJ, It’s very difficult to fault the selection of tracks here Some of them gems pasted over in those mad times to get the hits out by Berry Gordy the owner of Such labels as- Soul, Tamla, Motown, VIP, Ric Tic, Golden World and of cause Gordy.I picked these CD’s up for £7.99 each and for me one of the best buys this year. Right so where do I start? Well this CD is worth buying for two of its tracks alone-Marvin Gaye-“This loved starved heart”A superb song and a wonder it was never put out in it’s time as I sure it would have been a monster,This is Marvin at his very best the vocals are some of the finest you will ever hear. And the Temptations-“Truly yours” another wonderful song that was done by The Spinners, This Version is magic, being even more soulful that the former ,The CD is is just packed with absolute Gems such as The Contours “Just a little misunderstanding” Anyway here’s the listing…GO BUY IT
